Beyond the Practice
Tony.
To sit across from another human being and ask them to speak truthfully about their suffering, their compromises, and their desires requires an evaluator and therapist who is an active participant in the world—someone who reads, looks, listens, and understands that aesthetic, cultural, and domestic environments are not superficial distractions, but the raw material of self-presentation and personal sovereignty. This space is an index of the books, films, recordings, and quiet spaces that inform my life and clinical sensibility.
